FAKIN' FALL IN FLORIDA: PART 1

Happy October 2nd! Like many of you, fall is my most favorite season of the whole year. The days become slightly shorter, the air becomes crisp and cool, sweaters and boots come out from summer retirement, the scent of pumpkin candles fill the home, and the anticipation of the holidays begins to brew. What's not to love!?

Oh wait, I know what's not to love...the fact that it's in the high 80s and humid beyond belief down here in South Florida! Right, right, right. Details schmetails. While there are no colorful leaves on the trees or real need for scarves and flannels, a girl can crank up the A/C while at home and fake a seasonal weather change with some easy decor updates!

There are so many different ways you can incorporate classic "autumn" accents into the home without breaking the bank or going overboard on the loud commercial Halloween decor (or at least, not just yet!). From flowers and greenery, to fruits and pumpkins, candles, vases, and vessels....I'll be slowly updating our dining room console this month, transitioning it from "fall in Florida" to "Halloween chic" with easy and affordable accessories.

For FAKIN' FALL IN FLORIDA: PART 1, I've created two different room-scapes to capture my perfect Florida Fall Dining Room & Living Room. I've used everyday pieces mixed in with fall specific decor to highlight my most favorite season of the whole year! (You can shop any of the pieces directly by clicking on the image.)

These pieces can easily be worked into your existing rooms by swapping out pillows, layering rugs, adding in a throw, candles, a vase with greenery or flowers, and some organic textures from wood and brass accessories.

I've rounded up a handful of my favorite, go-to pieces to update any home this time of year....from Florida to Maine or Washington DC to California....I've gotcha covered!
